An upstate food and beverage hub is set to be replicated near the coast.

Four Oaks Real Estate Groupthe company behind Greenville’s Gather GVLreceived approval from Town of Mount PleasantIt is Commercial Design Review Board on October 30 to move forward with a 5.5-acre park anchored by a restaurant and brewery.

Gather MTP will be developed within the mainly residential neighborhood Downtown development between Rifle Range Road and Hungry Neck Boulevard.

Gather MTP would be anchored by Crooked Hammock, a beach-vibe restaurant and brewery based in Delaware that has another location in Myrtle Beach.

The East Cooper location will be Crooked’s fifth location, including an existing outpost in Myrtle Beach.

Construction is underway on the new Roper St. Francis Healthcare medical complex in the Sawmill communityy of Summerville.
