CINCINNATI (WXIX) – With spread likely early Wednesday, the FOX19 NOW weather team is declaring it First Weather Alert Day.

Steady rain is expected when you head out on Wednesday.

The morning commute will be wet with some puddle areas possible and you will have to deal with some splashing from vehicles.

The risk of showers will decrease throughout the day.

Precipitation amounts are expected to be less than half an inch, although locally higher amounts are possible, according to the weather team.
