A dry start to the weekend before the return of unsettled weather

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – The first weekend of November brings a mix of weather to the area as we will start off dry with a mix of sun and clouds today. Southerly winds will allow temperatures to reach near 60 degrees, so it will be a perfect day for outdoor activities. That said, changes are coming this evening with a warm front coming from the south. As a result, we will have increasing clouds and rain in our southern counties overnight. Just a reminder, don’t forget to set your clocks back an hour before bed because Daylight Saving Time officially ends at 2 a.m. Sunday!

Rain will continue through tomorrow, becoming heavy at times in our southern areas, with the northern limit of the rain shield currently expected to reach Eau Claire. If you’re forecasting anything outdoors, you’ll want to keep a close eye on our forecast, as adjustments are possible as new forecast data comes in. Overcast skies and precipitation will make the day cooler but more seasonable around 50. We will also have breezy southeast winds at 10-15 mph.

Rain moves in Saturday evening and continues Sunday across most of western Wisconsin
