Calgary: most expensive houses November 2024

The Calgary Real Estate Board says October home sales were mostly flat compared to last year’s levels, but remained about a quarter above long-term trends for the month.

The council says 2,174 homes changed hands last month, 0.2% more than in October 2023, with higher sales of homes priced above $600,000 offsetting declines at the lower end. walk. Month over month, home sales increased 8.6 percent from September levels.

The benchmark price for all home types was $592,500 for October, about 0.7% lower than the previous month but 4.5% higher than October 2023.

There were 3,264 new listings on the market last month, 21.6 percent more than a year earlier.

Ann-Marie Lurie, CREB’s chief economist, says housing demand has remained relatively strong in the market, but there likely would have been more activity if there had been more supply choice for low-cost housing.

The board says inventory levels in October stood at 4,966 units, a gain of 55 percent from last year, with almost half of that amount valued at more than $600,000.

Here are the five most expensive pre-built residential homes in the city for sale as of November 1, 2024, according to Realtor.ca:
