Here’s your 2024 guide to holiday pop-ups

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – It’s the most wonderful time of the year. The year 2024 brought its share of twists and turns. As the year comes to a close, why not celebrate the holiday season by enjoying these Christmas-themed pop-up bars and restaurants?

Here is a complete list including opening and closing dates.

Snow globe in Calaveras: November 7 to January 6 – For those who love the Christmas season, here’s your chance to immerse yourself in it with the over-the-top Christmas-themed pop-up at Calaveras Mexican Restaurant. There are several places to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with Lee’s Summit Restaurant.

KC Wine Co: November 8 to December 22 – This Olathe bar promises to be a one-of-a-kind holiday bar called “Jingle.” No tickets or reservations are required. Jingle will be open Friday through Sunday, Friday and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. This is a 21+ bar.

Jolly’s pop-up: Nov. 24 to Dec. 28 – Jolly’s returns for a 4th year at Grinder’s Pizza. No reservations are required to enjoy classic holiday music, top-to-bottom Christmas decor, and festive cocktails. Check out their social media platforms for themed nights like Christmas Trivia, Ugly Christmas Sweater, and more.

Nine Zero One Igloo Bar: November 25 to March 16 – The Igloos on the roof will certainly bring out the “Jack the Snowman” in everyone who wants to enjoy them. Located at the Hôtel Fontaine with happy hour Monday to Friday, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Kansas City Miracle: Nov. 28 to Dec. 28 – With two locations, one at Country Club Plaza and the other at Crossroads, reservations open Friday, November 1 at 10 a.m. For the lowest reservation, it costs $15 and the highest is $25. per seat. With a festive menu and cocktail list, guests are sure to enjoy the joyful holiday season.

Christmas at the crossroads: Nov. 29 to Jan. 4 – Society, an upscale restaurant at Carrefour, gets into the holiday spirit by transforming itself into a Christmas experience. No reservation is necessary to enjoy the festivities.

Rec Deck in the corridors of the Boulevard: November 29 to December 30 – Located at Boulevard Brewing Company, this is a first come, first served event, however, it includes a $5 entry fee. Two-hour seatings will be available and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local non-profit organization. The entire Visitor and Leisure Center will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Greetings from the Kingdom: November 30 to December 29 – The Kansas City Chiefs are bringing back Kingdom’s Greetings, a Chiefs-themed holiday pop-up bar inside Arrowhead Stadium. It will be open Thursday to Sunday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., from Saturday November 30 to Sunday December 29. It will be closed on Chiefs home game days (Sunday, December 8 and Saturday, December 21). with Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Winter Experiences at Chicken N Pickle: No dates shared – Chicken N Pickle offers several ways to enjoy the holidays with its winter experiences. The Holiday Hideaway, the igloos and even the ice rink. The Hideaway and Igloos are 21+.
