It’s like this New England Patriots coach Jerod Mayo described it. During his weekly appearance on WEEI, the first-year head coach said there was no shortage of people telling him how to fix things in New England.

“Everyone has solutions. It’s not just in the building. It’s outside. I can’t even go to a grocery store without thinking, “Well, maybe you should change the workout time.” My mother calls me with solutions. The people in the building – like everyone has a solution.

So what does Mayo’s mom recommend?

“My mom recommends playing better,” he said with a laugh. “Just practice better and play better. »

As criticism has rained down on the Patriots in recent weeks, Mayo stressed that a win can fix everything that ails a team. New England picked up a big win after their comeback against the Jets on Sunday. However, they still have a lot of work to do.
