The RCMP are looking for a man they believe to be armed and dangerous in the Lac La Biche area.

RCMP released a news release shortly before noon on Saturday, saying Peter Hamlin, 39, was allegedly driving a stolen vehicle in the Lac La Biche area.

He was last seen near Plamondon.

The stolen vehicle is described as a yellow Ford F350, with “Amarillo” written on the rear passenger side and happy faces on the grille.

Anyone who sees Hamlin or the truck should stay away and call 911.

“We understand how situations like this can make a community uncomfortable, but rest assured, Alberta RCMP are working around the clock to locate the suspect,” Mounties said in the release. .

“We ask the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity or suspicious information to the Lac La Biche RCMP or Crime Stoppers.”
