David Beckham planted a kiss on his daughter Harper’s cheek as they attended a soccer match between Inter Miami CF and Atlanta United FC in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Friday.

The retired footballer, 49, co-owner of Inter Miami, was also joined at the match by his wife Victoria, 50, and their son Cruz, 19.

David put his arms around Harper as he kissed her, but Beckham’s youngest child appeared to playfully grimace while watching the game with her family.

Victoria cut a relaxed figure for the outing as she wore a sky blue T-shirt and matching bracelets while chatting with a friend.

Cruz also opted for a casual look in a dark brown hoodie as he enjoyed the match alongside his father.

It comes after David was spotted wandering around his new $77 million mega-mansion in Miami, just days after purchasing the exclusive waterfront enclave.

The football legend was all smiles as he inspected the impressive nine-bedroom property in Miami Beach, Florida, which he acquired with Victoria.

Earlier this month, a local real estate source claimed that the Beckhams’ offer on the property had been accepted and that they planned to move in early next year.

The Beckhams have had a base in Florida for years and also spent around £18 million on a full-floor, five-bedroom penthouse in downtown Miami in 2020.

The couple already own a property portfolio which includes a £31million townhouse in London’s Holland Park and a £12million country estate in the Cotswolds.

Long-time celebrity columnist José Lambiet told the Mail earlier this month: “I don’t think people necessarily remember that David Beckham was a football player.

“They look at him as a society man now, and owning the football team has made him a pillar in South Florida.

“Miami is a place where he and Victoria can be comfortable because people are used to famous faces here – there are hundreds of celebrities.”

It appears the entire Beckham family had already been to view the property before Beckham’s latest visit, with a source saying “everyone loves it.”

They added: “Although it was David who had a work connection in Miami, real estate agents were under the impression that there was pressure from Victoria to move.

“What we’re hearing is that she wants to have some sort of salon there where she could bring interesting famous and rich people together. It will be a social scene, but the idea is that she can boost her fashion and makeup brands by leveraging those connections.

“It seems she wants to be the queen of Miami and rely on all the celebrity connections that come from the football club.”

Former England captain Beckham exercised an option in his contract with his former Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy to purchase an expansion franchise in 2014.

He launched the team in Miami in 2018, before confirming it would be called Club Internacional de Futbol Miami, or Inter Miami CF. He made his MLS debut in 2020.

The former Manchester United midfielder finished his playing career in 2013 with 718 appearances, 127 goals and 214 assists. He played 115 times for England.
