The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kolkata has released the admit cards for the Common Entrance Test or CAT 2024. Candidates appearing for the exam can download them from the official website of the exam at address iimcat.ac.in.

To download the admit cards, candidates need to enter their application number and date of birth.

It may be mentioned here that CAT 2024 is scheduled to be held on November 24. The exam will last 120 minutes and candidates will have 40 minutes to attempt each section. They will not be allowed to switch between sections.

The three sections of CAT 2024 are Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Ability (QA/Quants).

CAT 2024 results will be announced in the second week of January.

To be eligible for the entrance test, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with 50 percent marks or above or its equivalent CGPA. For SC, ST and PwD candidates, the minimum marks are 45 percent or its CGPA equivalent.

Notably, CAT is conducted for admission to postgraduate and fellowship/doctoral level commerce courses offered by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).

Additionally, many non-IIM institutes also use the exam in their admission processes.

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to download CAT 2024 hall tickets:

1. Visit the official website at iimcat.ac.in.
2. On the home page, click on the link to download CAT 2024 admit card
3. Enter the credentials on the login page and submit.
4. Your CAT 2024 admit card will be displayed on the screen.
5. Download and keep a printed copy of it for future use.
