A 23-year-old Brampton man has been charged with ten offenses as part of a sex trafficking investigation.

It is alleged that Jahmal Paquette exploited a female victim in the sex trade for profit by exercising control over many aspects of her life in the Greater Toronto Area.

Paquette was charged with four counts of serious threat to cause death, two counts each of procuring and failure to comply with release order and one count each of assault – woman over 17 and exercise of control.

Peel Regional Police believe there may be more alleged victims in the Greater Toronto Area and are encouraging them to call 905-453-2121 ext. 2121. 3555.

FEDERAL WANTED OFFENDER

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Team is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant following a statutory release breach.

Corey Richardson, 55, is serving a 13-year prison sentence for 13 counts of robbery and is known to frequent the Greater Toronto Area.

Richardson is described as black, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

He also has several tattoos, including “Lord is King” on his left shoulder, Malcolm right forearm, a pink one and “Kim” on his right calf and “Loca Negra” on his upper back.
