The 2024 Maruti Dzire was unveiled recently with a new Swift-inspired design and cabin layout. It also gets a new set of features, including a segment-first sunroof, and now uses the new Z-series petrol engine that debuted in the new Swift. In front

The new-gen Dzire looks completely new from this angle, with a new set of LED headlights and LED daytime running lights. It now sports a large grille, with a chrome strip in the center which aligns with the DRLs to connect the light clusters. The bumper features a new design, featuring LED fog lights at the corners.

Side

In profile, the window of the Dzire 2024 looks a lot like that of its outgoing counterpart. There is a chrome strip on the window beltline, and the door handles and ORVMs (exterior mirrors) are body colored. The ORVMs also integrate a camera confirming that the 2024 Dzire gets a 360-degree camera setup.

The new generation Dzire is the first subcompact sedan in India to feature a single-pane sunroof.

Notable changes at the rear are its newly designed taillights with Y-shaped LED elements, connected by a chrome strip. The bumper has been tweaked and it also gets a shark fin antenna.

Interior

The dashboard of the new generation Dzire is identical to that of the Maruti Swift. Even the steering wheel and analog cluster are identical to its hatchback counterpart. However, unlike the all-black cabin theme of the Swift, the Dzire has a black and beige theme with faux wooden inserts on the dashboard and steering wheel.

In terms of features, the new Dzire comes with amenities such as a 9-inch touchscreen, automatic climate control, wireless phone charger, single panel sunroof and cruise control.

Passenger safety is ensured by 6 airbags (standard), 360-degree camera, electronic stability control (ESC) and rear parking sensors.

Rear passengers also enjoy the convenience of air vents and a center armrest with cup holders.
