Clarkson’s Farm came about after Jeremy took a more hands-on approach to Cotswolds farm he had purchased in 2008. It was decided that the ups and downs of this new business would be perfect fodder for a TV showand so a film crew arrived in the rural village.

Episodes show the realities of farming, from economic uncertainty to the horrors of British weather, as well as some devastating moments with his beloved animals on the farm.

Alongside farm manager Kaleb Cooper, land agent Charlie Ireland, head of security Gerald Cooper and his partner Lisa Hogan, Jeremy made the series a smash hit.

4.3 million viewers watched the first episode of series two, setting a new record for Prime Video. Season 3 remained in the top 10 programs on the platform for more than three months after its release in May.

Jeremiah was recently treated as a hypocrite after warning the Government that the Budget could be the “straw that breaks the camel’s back” for farmers who are “struggling to cope”.
