Sabrina Carpenter registers record number of new voters for the election

Sabrina Charpentier didn’t just top the charts this year. The rising pop star has recently been seen as one of the most influential celebrities in getting young Americans registered to vote ahead of the vote. 2024 presidential election.

Weekly Entertainment has contacted Carpenter for comment.

Just behind Carpenter in the rankings is Ariana Grande, who, according to HeadCount data, registered 15,591 new voters through her partnership with the organization, in addition to 85,848 engagements with voting-related practices.

HeadCount has once again distinguished a rock group Green DayIt is Saviors album tour to register 7,900 new voters and engage 61,000 people with activations on the tour. Outside of the tour, the group is also credited with inspiring 46,892 actions related to voter engagement, as well as registering 22,525 new voters.

Many celebrities have used their voices to amplify political messages in recent months, including the vice president. Kamala Harris And Donald Trump will face each other at the polls on Tuesday.

Rihanna recently urged Americans to vote and engaged with passionate online commentators on immigration issues, while Harris’ campaign garnered support from a wide range of voices on the trail, including appearances from Beyoncé, Jennifer LopezMichelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Andra Day, Scarlett Johansson, Christina Aguilera and more in key battleground states.
