For households with children or pets, a mop vacuum promises to clean, disinfect and dry your floor and handle wet and dry debris with ease. To determine whether these hybrid machines can deliver on that promise, we tested eight vacuum-mop combos from popular brands, including Bissell, Vacuum cleaner, RoborockAnd Tinéco.

Hoover ONEPWR Streamline Cordless Wet/Dry Vacuum for Hard Floors

THE Hoover ONEPWR Streamline Wireless is the best performing mop vacuum in our tests, passing both our wet and dry pick-up tests, and was very effective at removing stains. The ease of cleaning was also very good. Runtime was average, with some others in our tests running longer on a single charge. An indicator light lets you know when the battery is low. It weighs 11 pounds (empty), as do three of the four models on this list.

Tineco Floor One S3 Smart Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner

THE Tineco Floor One S3 Smart excelled at dry picking and was very good at wet picking and stain removal. Runtime was very good and our testers found it easy to clean. It comes with useful features, such as a battery life indicator and a dirt sensor that adjusts liquid distribution based on the mess at hand. It weighs 10 pounds.

Roborock Dyad Pro Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner

THE Roborock Dyad Pro was excellent for wet pickup and very good for dry pickup and stain removal. It was also pretty easy to clean, although the runtime was just average. For the price, you get a battery life indicator, a dirt sensor, and a nifty auto-dry feature that circulates hot air around the brush roll to dry it after you’ve washed it. He weighs 11 pounds.

Tineco Floor One S7 Pro Smart Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner

THE Tineco Floor One S7 Pro Smart Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner costs twice as much as its counterpart above, but didn’t perform as well in our tests. The wet pickup and dry pickup were very good, but the dry pickup wasn’t great. It earned the highest possible rating in our tests for ease of cleaning, which is a plus, and run time was above average. It is equipped with a battery life indicator, a dirt sensor, and an auto-dry function that circulates warm air around the brush roll you just washed. He weighs 11 pounds.
