Dandadan Preview Makes Anime Fans Think About Harry Potter Crossover

Dandan was one of the biggest hits of the fall anime seasonintroducing many new fans to the crazy adventures of Okarun and Momo. While the first five episodes of the animated adaptation of Science SARU saw the two protagonists take on the Turbo Granny, things have changed in insurmountable ways since the frightening spirit cast a long shadow over their lives. Now, Momo and Okarun are dealing with the fallout of Turbo Granny’s new status and a new episode preview for the sixth installment is raising eyebrows. Surprisingly, Dandan could take inspiration from Hogwarts when it comes to the future of anime.

When we last left Momo and Okarun, the two had found a way to defeat the Turbo Granny, seemingly breaking the curse on the UFO enthusiast who was missing some very essential valuables. Although the spirit has been destroyed in a spirited chase for ages, the ghost has clung to Okarun and won’t let go. Luckily, Momo and her grandmother were able to capture the spirit and throw it into a nearby object. Hilariously, this item happens to be a cat doll, which means the Turbo Granny is a lot less threatening than we’ve seen before, but that doesn’t mean all of Okarun’s problems are gone. Apparently her missing ends aren’t being held by the Turbo Granny and a new adventure is about to begin. Okarun has a new transformation to use to fight the supernatural and the alien.

Dandadan Snitch

Here’s how Dandan describes the sixth episode of the anime adaptation arriving later this week, “Momo, Okarun and Turbo Hag search for the missing golden ball. They search all over the school, but the one with the ball is a beautiful girl, Aira Shiratori. Perhaps thanks to the influence of the ball, Isla is now able to see things that cannot be seen, and a mysterious woman in a red dress, “Acrobatic Sarasara” appears before her… Momo and Okarun stand up facing Aira’s face. crisis.”

Given that the next installment will focus on a golden orb, quite similar to the “Golden Snitch” from Harry Potter, it makes sense that there would be comparisons to Hogwarts. There is no Harry Potter anime yet, although Warner Bros has stated in the past that they are looking to invest more in the world of anime.. Besides their recent DC properties, Harry Potter remains a great example of a great WB property that would work well in the anime medium.

Dandadan: halfway

Apparently, Dandadan The first season will consist of around twelve episodes, which means episode six is about halfway done. For those hoping for a renewal for a second season, signs point to the series continuing thanks to the popularity it has seen since its release earlier this fall. Typically, animated series let viewers know if a series has been renewed around the release of a finale, although it sometimes happens some time after, with Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End recently being a prime example.

Creator Yukinobu Tatsu is working on the shonen manga as we speak, finishing one hundred and seven chapters as we speak. For the anime to catch up with the source material, it will need at least one or two seasons to release in the future. Hopefully, Momo and Okarun have a bright future ahead of them in the manga and anime world.
