Election in Regina: how many people voted in advance?

Regina’s municipal election is scheduled for November 13, but residents had the opportunity to vote early last weekend.

There were several polling stations to choose from, which opened Friday morning and closed at 6 p.m. Monday. On Tuesday, the City of Regina released the final advance voting results, with a comparison to the 2020 advance voting results.

A total of 15,190 people voted, including 2,208 at Regina City Hall, 3,498 at South Leisure Centre, 2,549 at Northgate Mall, 3,174 at North West Leisure Centre, 3,496 at Victoria Square Mall and 265 at the University. from Regina.

Compared to 2020 advance voting, a total of 14,374 ballots were cast, including 2,720 at Regina City Hall, 2,918 at South Leisure Centre, 2,171 at Northgate Mall, 3,153 at North West Leisure Center and 2,412 at Victoria Square Mall. .

Additionally, just over 3,000 absentee ballot requests have been received so far.
