Brown Bag conference to examine how armed conflict affects animal populations in Iraq | News, Sports, Jobs

The impact of armed conflict on the animal world in Iraq will be discussed at the upcoming Brown Bag conference at the State University of New York at Fredonia.

Here Vanwesenbeeck, professor in the Department of English, will explore the topic Wednesday at noon, in room S204 of the Williams Center.

“The multifaceted impacts of population” is the theme of the 2024-2025 Brown Bag Lecture Series sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The monthly lectures are free and open to the public.

The Brown Bag series is supported by the Carnahan Jackson Fund for the Humanities at the Fredonia College Foundation. Refreshments are provided by the Faculty Students’ Association.
