Idaho Summer Food Service program feeds record number of children

The Summer Meals Program provides free meals and snacks to children ages 1-18 at sites located in low-income areas during the summer. Sponsors are reimbursed using U.S. Department of Agriculture funds for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. There are no income requirements and children receive meals at no cost to the families.
