Is there really drama behind the scenes on Dancing With the Stars? What’s going on between Carrie Ann, Derek and Bruno?

As Dancing with the stars Season 33 moves closer to crowning the next recipient of the Len Goodman Disco Ball Trophy in the middle of TV schedule 2024the dance competition series is getting intense. While some dance routines scored bigwith Olympian Ilona Maher Encanto performance is part of it, fans expressed their thoughts on the eliminations and ratings. Some might suggest it’s getting out of hand – so much so that it could cause some backstage drama with judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Toniloi.

Since last week’s Halloween Nightmares episode, viewers have seemingly called out Inaba’s scoring trends, especially when it comes to female contestants. Viewers criticized the longtime judge for seemingly giving 10s to many contestants, especially the men, and for not fairly criticizing Ilona Maher and actress Chandler Kinney. It should be noted that both ladies technically performed the most difficult dances of the evening. Kinney also begged Inaba to tell her how to improve since she didn’t receive much specific feedback.

If a source for The American sun It looks like the moderator’s method of assigning scores is supposed to cause problems behind the scenes. The person said that the judge would “no longer have her place like before” on the set. They also stated the following:

She doesn’t fit in as well as she used to. That’s not to say she’s necessarily doing a bad job, but again, she just doesn’t fit in with the show or the team like she once did. This led to many awkward moments on set, some caught on camera.

Of course, these claims have not been substantiated by anyone on the show or by ABC representatives. Nonetheless, the source also claims that Carrie Ann Inaba’s move to the long-running program may be in play and that her relationship with her fellow judges may have changed:

(His) time seems to be up. I think it’s only a matter of time before the show pulls the trigger and brings in someone that audiences are excited about. Bruno and Derek love Carrie Ann, but they haven’t been on the same page with her all season. It’s been frustrating for them trying to play along with his unpredictable behavior.

A judge since 2005, Carrie Ann Inaba is known for sharing very honest feedback and, in a number of cases, they have focused on lifts.
