A car crashed into a staircase outside Square One in Mississauga over the weekend in a hit-and-run collision, police say.

Peel Regional Police told INsauga.com that officers responded to Duke of York Boulevard and Prince of Wales Drive around 12:15 a.m. Saturday for reports of a two-vehicle crash.

“It appears that one of the vehicles left the scene before police arrived,” police said, confirming that it was a hit and run.

Footage from the scene appears to show the other vehicle – a dark colored sedan – crashed down a flight of stairs towards the car park outside Square One.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

Police said an investigation was ongoing and asked anyone with information to come forward.
