TikToker uses Google Earth to ‘explore S’pore until it’s ugly’, stops at what looks like a foreign worker dormitory in CCK

TikToker Natasha Gupta (@natooooooosh) has a very popular series in which she uses Google Earth to “explore” various countries and cities around the world.

She clicks on a random area, looks around at the street view, then gives the verdict: ugly or not ugly. Her video ends when she clicks on an area she deems “ugly.”

Natasha finally Featured Singapore in his latest message, to the delight of his Singaporean subscribers.

She starts off well by exploring a hotel, which we later discover is the ibis Styles Singapore On Macpherson, then a park located in an HDB estate before commenting: “I like it.”

It then cuts to a view of the Halia restaurant in the botanical gardens, then to a hotel on Sentosathis time it’s the One15 Marina Sentosa Cove Singapore Hotel.

After that, she lands on a “spectacular” view of the sunset over a private subdivision, and needless to say, all of these places received a “not ugly” rating.

The video ends when she lands in a stairwell facing a building in the northwest region of Singapore.

Many Singaporeans noticed that the latest location appeared to be near a foreign workers’ dormitory in Choa Chu Kang.

“Not the dorms!” one user commented, while others expressed surprise at how she was “able to zoom up to a stairwell.”

Although many were entertained by her video, some disagreed with her. “I’m from Singapore, Singapore isn’t ugly,” wrote one proud local, while another joked: “Why does she avoid Woodlands so much?”

Well, we have to say that she gave our country a good chance before finally landing in an area that we can all agree is not pretty.

Maybe this is a sign that our dorms could use some sprucing up from time to time?
