The leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, on Sunday denounced the Zionist entity as the most villainous enemy of Islam.

During a meeting with the families of the martyrs of the air defense forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khamenei paid tribute to the Iranian servicemen martyred during the Israeli attack on some military sites in the provinces of Tehran, of Khuzestan and Ilam on October 26.

“The martyrdom of these loved ones is an important and significant martyrdom due to the defense of the country and the nation in a direct confrontation with the Zionist regime,” the leader was quoted as saying by Iranian media.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Commander General Hossein Salami said the United States and the Israeli regime had reached the end of the line.

“Today, it is the United States that is observing its political decline,” Maj. Gen. Salami said in a speech to a gathering of people marking the National Day to Fight Global Arrogance in Tehran.

He stressed that the United States and the Zionist entity were on the verge of collapse, warning Washington and Tel Aviv that resistance forces would respond at the appropriate time.
