Ryan Reynolds Reacts to Neighbor Martha Stewart Saying He’s ‘Not That Funny’

Ryan Reynolds responded to Martha Stewart’s claim that he’s “not that funny in real life.”

“I would disagree with her. But I tried that once,” the “Deadpool & Wolverine” star, 48, tweeted Saturday under a video of Stewart, 83, talking about his humor on Bilt Rewards’ November game show “Rent Free.”

He added: “The woman is surprisingly vivacious. She really closed the gap after about a kilometer and a half.

The lifestyle guru made the comments about her longtime friend and neighbor while trying to guess who respondents to a Bilt Rewards survey think would be the most fun celebrity to hang out with.

“He’s probably on the list just because he covers up in his movies and you don’t see his face – is Ryan Reynolds one of them?” she asked.

“And you want to know something?” He’s not that funny in real life. No, he’s not that funny. He is very serious.

She doubled down later in the video, adding, “He’s a good actor.” He may act funny, but he’s not funny.
