Peel Regional Police have resolved a “suspicious incident” reported in Mississauga Friday evening.

Investigators say around 9:45 p.m. on Nov. 1, security footage in the area of ​​Traders Boulevard East and Hurontario Street appeared to show someone being restrained before two vehicles – a dark-colored sedan and an orange SUV – leave the area in unknown directions.

Investigators released photos of two alleged suspects Saturday morning, but later informed the public that the situation had been resolved.

It is unclear whether the incident was a prank. No further details were provided.
