How to watch Palace Women’s WSL match against Manchester City – News

The Opposition

City have enjoyed a near-perfect start to the WSL under the management of former Palace player Gareth Taylor. They won every match except their first match of the season against Arsenal, where they drew 2–2.

Taylor took over City in 2020 and has won a League Cup and an FA Cup so far.

City finished level on points with champions Chelsea last season but were beaten to the title by the London side on goal difference in a dramatic final day.

City have many players to watch. Watch out for last year’s top scorer: Khadija “Bunny” Shaw, who scored the most goals in the WSL last season. Lionesses Chloe Kelly, Lauren Hemp and Alex Greenwood all play for the Citizens, who are aiming for their first WSL title since 2016.

Hemp recently made headlines as she was named WSL Player of the Month for October.
