Clark took an official visit to the Forty Acres on September 13, just after taking one to Houston the week before, and finished his recruiting campaign at Kansas on October 11. He mentioned that the plan Texas has for him was a major deciding factor. compared to its other options.

“I believed in the coaching staff because they have a proven track record of taking players to the next level, especially at my position. The plan and layout they have for me has also stood out to me, more than any other school,” Clark said. “I adapt to their system and style of play in many ways.
