Effingham County Business Summit Planned to Encourage Growth

EFFINGHAM, Ga. (WTOC) – The Catalyst Business Summit, hosted by the Effingham Chamber of Commerce, is less than two weeks away.

WTOC spoke with the chamber’s CEO to learn more about the summit and how it can help small and medium-sized businesses grow.

The more you know, the more your business will grow, which is what the Catalyst Business Summit is all about.

Susan Kraut, CEO of the Effingham Chamber of Commerce, says the event is perfect for small and medium-sized businesses looking to put deep roots in the community.

“Whether it’s a restaurant, boutique, nail salon or any other service entity in our community, understanding how the economy works and what drives growth and how to manage a Smart and efficient growth is what ensures the longevity of their business. ” Kraut said.

There will be four Think Talks, including one on redefining company culture and one on the importance of diversity in action.

Workshops, such as Intelligence in Action with AI, are also planned for the event.

“We understand that some of our small businesses cannot be away for an entire day. We are very aware of this, which is why we offer this to them as a la carte options. So if you really need to attend this networking workshop, you can do it without having to commit to the whole day,” Kraut said.

Effingham’s industrial sector is experiencing a major growth spurt, attracting more small and medium-sized businesses than ever before.

Kraut says insights from industry leaders, hands-on workshops and networking opportunities are tailor-made to help businesses succeed in the community.

“It was designed because it meets the express needs of our business owners, so I want to make sure it works for them,” Kraut said.
