A woman is in custody following a stabbing that occurred Thursday evening in North York, Toronto police said.

It happened at an apartment building near Jane Street and Wilson Avenue around 11:30 p.m.

Police say emergency crews were called to the scene following a stabbing and found a man suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

A woman was arrested at the scene, police said. It’s unclear what charges she faces.
