KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 1 — The King and Queen of Malaysia, His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim and His Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, today conveyed birthday greetings to the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, on the occasion on his 68th birthday.

On the occasion of Sultan Nazrin’s birthday, a total of 213 people will receive state medals and honorary distinctions, during an investiture ceremony to be held in two sessions, on November 9 and 16, in Balairong Seri, Istana Iskandariah, Kuala Kangsar.

The celebration also involves organizing a recitation of Surah Yasin and a doa selamat.
