Hundreds of people will gather for Wolverhampton’s Remembrance Sunday parade

The parade is expected to pass through Princes Square, Lichfield Street and Exchange Street to end in St Peter’s Square.

Once assembled, civic dignitaries will join for an outdoor service of Remembrance.

A minute’s silence will take place at 11:00 GMT, before wreaths are laid at the city’s cenotaph, followed by a ceremony of remembrance inside St. Peter’s Church.

Wolverhampton Mayor, Councilor Linda Leach, said she hoped as many people as possible would come to watch and take part in this year’s event.
