A Cathedral Prep football player, for the second week in a row, topped the Erie Times-News Seaway Window and AHN Sports Medicine poll for the sport.

Gavin Easter of the Ramblers received 113 votes out of more than 1,200 votes cast. The junior helped preserve his 7-0 shutout against Farrell with an interception and a quarterback sack in the final five minutes of the fourth quarter.

Seneca’s Dominic Buscemi, star of the Bobcats’ 41-22 win over Maplewood, finished second to Easter with 101 votes.

Seneca had a winner in Allie Gladitz, who topped the girls’ athlete poll with 109. The senior qualified for Saturday’s PIAA Class 1A girls’ cross country race in Hershey.

Fairview golfer Cora Hirz (59) finished second behind Gladitz. Hirz led the Tigers to the PIAA Class 2A girls team tournament title on the Penn State University Blue Course.

Harbor Creek football player Joey Wagner rounded out the latest poll winners. He topped the male athletes’ ballot with 85 votes.

Wagner scored two goals and assisted two others as the Huskies knocked off Slippery Rock 6-0 in the quarterfinals of the Class 2A District 10 boys tournament.

Seneca football player Brady Seyboldt (67) and prep golfer Connor Laird (65) finished second and third.

Next week will be the final ETN Athlete of the Week voting for the PIAA fall sports season. Voting will resume Dec. 16-18, shortly after the start of the state’s winter sports season.
