Packers and USA Football award fall grants to youth football leagues

The Green Bay Packers and USA Football, the sport’s national governing body and a U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee-recognized sports organization, recently awarded fall grants to Wisconsin youth football organizations. The extensive grant offerings support the development of grassroots programs so they can continue to bring local communities together and inspire a new generation of athletes and soccer fans.

USA Football’s grant program, made possible through support from the NFL Foundation, complements the Packers’ continued support of grassroots football by awarding new equipment and resources to local youth programs based on merit and need. This allows young athletes to continue playing America’s favorite sport while learning life lessons and building friendships.

Local youth football programs receiving a fall grant from USA Football 2024 include:

  • Poynette Panthers Youth Football in Poynette, Wisconsin.
  • Saint-François-Xavier football in Cross Plains, Wisconsin.
  • Pardeeville Youth Football in Pardeeville, Wisconsin.
  • Fox Valley Pop Warner Football in Appleton, Wisconsin.
  • McFarland Youth Football Inc. in McFarland, Wisconsin.
  • Columbus Football Organization in Columbus, Wisconsin.
  • Southeast Wisconsin Brew City Pop Warner in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
  • Mad City Elite in Madison, Wisconsin.

“The Packers are constantly looking for new ways to support youth football in Wisconsin,” said USA Football CEO Scott Hallenbeck. “We are grateful for this opportunity to work together to benefit youth soccer organizations and local soccer communities. Our fall grants ensure programs have access to crucial, up-to-date equipment and resources so that young athletes can enjoy America’s favorite sport.”

Nationally, USA Football’s fall grant recipients represent more than 630 youth sports organizations that received approximately $350,000 in new youth football equipment. Throughout the 2024 calendar year, USA Football awarded approximately $1.1 million in grants to youth soccer leagues and multi-sport programs for deserving youth.

Since 2006, USA Football has awarded more than $21 million in grants to youth and high school football programs, directly benefiting youth and high school players in 14,000 programs in all 50 states. and Washington, DC.
