Maintaining a strong pipeline of healthcare talent includes training the next generation of academic scientists, physician leaders and allied health professionals for the future of healthcare and biomedical science.

Preparing these specialists is the mission of the new Cedars-Sinai University of Health Sciences, which will integrate clinical, basic and translational science research education in an academic medical center, offering a broad range of research and training programs advanced professional training aimed at creating leaders in science and health care. .

Students will gain a better understanding of human disease, how to best treat individuals and populations, improve disease prevention, and improve the overall health of communities. These programs will also drive innovation and nurture thought leaders in medical education.

Cedars-Sinai is already home to more than 315 graduate students and postdoctoral scientists as well as 540 medical residents and fellows. Among other academic pathways, the University of Health Sciences will offer a new doctoral program in artificial intelligence in health in 2025, focused on the analysis of clinical data to improve patient care.

Regardless of discipline or research area, students at the university will be matched with clinical partners who will provide mentorship and training throughout their program.
