Rain and snow in Colorado on Wednesday will give way to dry and freezing overnight temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.

NWS forecasters said the metro area Freeze warning includes Denver, Fort Collins, Boulder, west Denver suburbs, Castle Rock, Greeley and Byers. The alert will be in effect from 10 a.m. Wednesday to 9 a.m. Thursday.
