Denzel Curry to extend “mischievous king of the south”

Curry DenzelIt is Mischievous King of the South This duo of projects served as key inflection points for the rapper in his career. After revealing the original Mischievous King of the South Vol. 1 more than ten years ago now and his successor Mischievous King of the South Vol. 2 in July, the Florida rapper returns to the project inherited from 2012 to breathe new life into it. Curry announced he would drop the “album version” of Mischievous King of the Southexpanding the original mixtape with a reconfigured tracklist and five new songs.

The first taste of the project arrives in the form of “STILL IN THE PAINT,” a hard-hitting single featuring LAZER DIM 700 and Bktherula. The Waka Flocka-inspired cut also arrives with an immersive music video directed by AMD.

454, Duke Deuce, Walka sauce, Nyata Key also appear on the extended version of the project.

Apple Music offers a preview of the album version’s tracklist, which includes 19 tracks, including a new solo from Curry himself.
