DONALD Trump has called on his supporters to pardon Joe Biden in a shocking moment after the president called his fans rubbish.

The Republican presidential candidate made the surprising remark during his latest rally in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

The moment Florida Senator Marco Rubio took the stage to inform Trump and his fans of Biden’s scathing remarks was caught on camera.

“I wasn’t going to say anything but I have some breaking news for you, Mr. President, you may not have heard this,” Rubio said.

“Moments ago, Joe Biden said our supporters were trash. »

Trump appeared to shake his head as Rubio continued his impassioned defense.

“He talks about the Border Patrol, he talks about the nurses, he talks about the teachers,” Rubio said.

“It’s about ordinary Americans who love their country, want to dream big again, and want to support you, Mr. President.”

Trump responded to the remarks by reminding his supporters of what Hillary Clinton said about them in 2016.

“Remember Hillary? She said deplorable, then she said irremediable, but she said deplorable, it didn’t work,” Trump said.

“I think trash is worse, don’t you?”

“But he doesn’t know that. You have to forgive him, please.”

The former president then made a bizarre assumption about Biden’s likeability.

“These people are terrible, terrible, terrible for saying such a thing,” Trump added.

“But he really doesn’t know that. Honestly, that’s not the case.

“And I’m convinced he loves me more than Kamala. But it’s a terrible thing.”

The remarks came after Biden was asked about a comment made Tuesday at a Trump rally about Puerto Rico, during a Zoom call with Voto Latino.

Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe called the US territory a “floating island of garbage” during Sunday’s rally in New York.

Biden responded to this and said: “The only trash I see floating out there is his supporters.

“His demonization of Latinos is unacceptable and un-American.

“It’s totally contrary to everything we’ve done, everything we’ve been.”

Hinchcliffe’s comment sparked fury on both sides of American politics and led to accusations of racism.

The comedian made another series of jokes that fueled racial stereotypes.

Trump has since claimed he does not know the comedian and did not hear his joke.

Despite this, Puerto Rican mega pop star Bad Bunny supported Kamala Harris.
