CNN Anchor Skeptical of White House Cleaning Up Biden’s ‘Trash’ Comment: ‘You Can Listen to It for Yourself’

CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins seemed skeptical about the White House trying to clean up President Biden’s controversial comment about Trump supporters from his official transcript.

He attacked former President Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden, which made headlines after insults. comedian Tony Hinchiffe made jokes mocking different ethnic groups, with one joke referring to Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage”.

“The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters,” Biden said on the call. “Sa- sa- his demonization of Latinos is unacceptable and un-American.”

However, the White House sent a transcript adding an apostrophe to indicate that Biden was only talking about one supporter, not all of them: “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters – his – his demonization of Latinos is unacceptable, and it’s not American.”
