Only Donald Trump can offer voters the kind of strong foreign policy the United States needs now

As America’s enemies increasingly align themselves with an anti-democratic axis, the choice for the 2024 elections is clear: only Donald Trump proposes a strong foreign policy that serves American interests.

One of the central fictions of Kamala Harris the campaign is that she hasn’t been in office for 3 1/2 years; even a cursory glance at the foreign policy disaster she helped oversee reveals why Camp Harris and his surrogates are so desperate to eliminate this “service.”

Start with Iran: from the start of their administration, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris did everything possible to meet the needs of the regime.

The administration was desperate to get Tehran to return to a resurrected version of Barack Obama’s disastrous nuclear deal.

Biden and Harris offered endless bribes, including tens of billions in sanctions relief and billions more in cash payments for hostages.

Give Tehran carte blanche

Washington did nothing while Iran and its proxy forces waged war against U.S. allies and assets in the Middle East, killing American soldiers, strangling shipping and sowing chaos in an already unstable region.

The climax of Iran’s hegemonic game has arrived the terrorist butcheries of October 7.

Once again, Biden and Harris obstructed at every turn Israel’s humane and justified counterattack against Hamas, Hezbollah and their masters in Tehran.

And Harris, time and again, on the campaign trail and elsewhere, echoed left-wing insults against the Jewish state.

Most recently, she admitted that Israel was committing genocide in response to a heckler at a campaign event.

And his top foreign policy advisers are even more supportive of appeasement with Iran than Biden’s.

Don’t forget she was also voted top VP pick, Pennsylvania. Governor Josh Shapiroon the sidewalk – very clearly because she feared that choosing a Jew would hurt her chances.

Every available piece of evidence suggests that Harris would adopt a Biden-like, Obama-on-steroids posture toward Iran.

It would have allowed the regime to continue its imperialist project unchecked, causing more chaos and more bloodshed.

Donald Trump always understood that Iran was our enemy and that Israel and the Saudis were our best potential allies in the region.

He governed according to this correct interpretation, imposing sanctions on Tehran, withdrawing from the nuclear deal that empowered the regime, and eliminating General Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran’s paramilitary agency, the Quds Force.

His critics said his aggressive stance toward the Islamic Republic would spark World War III.

Instead, we had four years of stability in the Middle East, capped by the historic Abraham Accords between the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan, Morocco and Israel.

Another conflict looms for America, even as it continues to intensify: China.

The Biden-Harris administration has shown itself to be completely indifferent towards Beijing.

This weakness is evident at the geopolitical level: China has increased large-scale provocations, via military exercises and increasingly strong rhetoric about its intentions towards Taiwan.

It played a major role in helping Mexican cartels flood America with fentanyl, serving as a global supermarket for the precursor chemicals needed to mix fentanyl.

Neither Harris nor Biden offered any significant resistance to any of these developments, beyond some sullen communications with the supreme leader. Xi Jinping.

Meanwhile, Chinese hackers with government ties went after the phones of campaign staffers for Harris, Trump and his running mate. Senator JD Vance.

Where is the outrage?

Where are the retaliations?

Harris is the sitting vice president, for goodness sake.

His inaction here shows that this is the clearest prediction of what our attitude toward China would look like under Harris.

Also remember the horrific spy balloon saga: China’s wandering eye in the sky wandered over sensitive military installations for days in early 2023 before media coverage forced the White House to admit that she knew about this naked spying all along.

But Harris-Biden still did nothing, simply tearing him down once he had completed his course and then patting himself on the back for it.

Followed by nothing more: China has faced no significant consequences for its blatant violation of U.S. territorial sovereignty.

And don’t forget the Vice President’s choice of oh-so-cozy ties, Minn. Governor Tim Walza with the People’s Republic.

He made several trips there, some financed by the Chinese government; he chillingly planned his wedding for the anniversary of the massacre of pro-democracy protesters in Tiananmen Square.

A Harris victory would mean (at least) four more years of appeasing Beijing.

Asset?

Even his worst enemies will admit that this man has focused for decades on the threat posed by China, in the economic and military domains.

Trump has already promised to retaliate against China with crushing tariffs if it invades Taiwan, and has shown during his presidency that he is not afraid to impose those tariffs on the Middle Kingdom .

He sent Cabinet officials to Taipei for the first time since 1979 and was himself the first U.S. president or president-elect since 1979 to speak directly with Taiwan’s head of state.

He sold Taiwan billions of weapons.

He made it clear that he knew who our friends and enemies were.

And that is the crucial element of American foreign policy as the country moves forward.

Remember: It’s not just that China and Iran are emboldened or that Russia felt empowered to invade Ukraine.

This is because the main actors outside the liberal order form an ever tighter network of alliances and allegiances.

This is evidenced by North Korea’s recent aid to Russia’s restive field campaign with new troops.

Or the massive thaw in relations between India and China, which sorted things out very publicly at the recent BRICS conference – remember that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Trump were close allies and there are Four years ago, the two Asian nations were engaged in what appeared to be the first skirmish of a hot war.

Indeed, the fabric of the US-led postwar order is under attack on all these fronts, and we are (thanks to the pusillanimity of Biden and Harris) failing the test.

Seriously.

And Harris has repeatedly shown that she — like Biden — would rather capitulate to elements in her party who hate American power on principle than defend our national interest.

Four more years poses an existential danger.

The choice is clear.
