Rangers at Capitals: How to Live Stream NHL FREE, Time and Channels

The Washington Capitals will host the New York Rangers on Tuesday night in an attempt to extend a three-game home winning streak.

Game time is 7:30 p.m. EDT and you can watch it on ESPN or stream it live on ESPN+, fubo tv (FREE Trial), Sling TV (reduction) or DirectTV Stream (FREE trial and discount).

Both teams are off to a good start.

The New York Rangers are 6-1-1, second in the Metropolitan Division, and the Washington Capitals are 5-2-0, fourth in the Metropolitan Division.

Washington had outscored its opponents 23-13 during a five-game winning streak, but was shut out 3-0 in Tampa on Saturday night.

The Capitals were 0-for-2 on the power play, dropping them to 2-for-23 on the season. They went five games without scoring with the extra man.

Washington’s Alex Ovechkin, who has 50 career goals in 82 games against the Lightning, was held to two shots on goal.

Dylan Strome leads the Capitals with three goals and six assists, and Connor McMichael is second on the scoring list with three goals and five assists.

Tom Wilson and John Carlson have six points each, followed by Ovechkin and Pierre-Luc Dubois with five points each.

The Rangers are coming off a 2-1 win over Anaheim on Saturday night, as Jonathan Quick stopped 30 shots. New York picked up a point for the seventh time in eight games thanks to third-period goals from Ryan Lindgren and Will Cuylle.

Artemi Panarin, who led the Rangers with 120 points including 49 goals last season, extended his point streak to start this season to eight games. Panarin leads the Rangers with six goals and 15 total points. Alexis Lafreniere had the first assist on Lindgren’s goal, giving him four assists and eight points this season.
