13 Going on 30 musical confirms world premiere in Manchester

13 In progress 30 celebrates its 20th anniversary this year (yes, we feel old too), and we can exclusively reveal that the musical adaptation will have its world premiere next year in Manchester.

ROYO, Revolution Studios, Wendy Federman and Phil Kenny announced that 13 Continue 30 – The Musicalwritten by the film’s writers Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa, will be released at the Manchester Opera House on September 21, 2025.

It follows a successful workshop last year in London for the new version of Jennifer Garner’s classic 2004 romantic comedy, which also starred Mark Ruffalo, Judy Greer and Brie Larson in one of her first film roles.

Casting for 13 Continue 30 – The Musical is to be announced, but we can debut the official poster for the musical which features a dress that all fans of the film should remember.

“We were thrilled by the audience response to our workshop last year, and now we can’t wait to officially open it in Manchester at the legendary Opera House – the launching pad for so many iconic musicals.

“So bring your family, your friends, maybe a date, or just come alone – don’t be shy, we’re all nice. I hope you have as much fun seeing the show as we had to do it!”
