“I have full faith in the people of Baramati, who have given me power in state politics since 1965,” said Sharad Pawar.

“I have participated in many elections here. At first I campaigned myself, but over time people took on this responsibility. I am sure this election will also ensure a big victory for MVA candidate Yugendra.”

He added, “No one understands the voters of Baramati better than me. »

The candidatures of Ajit Pawar and his nephew Yugendra for the office of Baramati Tahsildar marked a significant moment in one of the most influential political families in Maharashtra, who are now contesting directly against each other. Sharad Pawar and Baramati MP Supriya Sule attended Yugendra’s deposition.

Sharad Pawar reflected on his long relationship with Baramati, saying, “I first came to the Baramati tahsildar office 57 years ago, and since then, the voters of Baramati have stuck with me. I am convinced that they will now welcome this new face.

When asked what advice he had for Yugendra, he said, “My strength with voters comes from commitment, respect and politeness. »

Supriya Sule also addressed the media, emphasizing, “This is not a personal fight. We defend ideology, against policies like inflation.”

When asked if she and Ajit Pawar would celebrate Bhaubej together, she said, “Our relationship is one of love, not votes. »

Yugendra expressed confidence in Baramati’s victory.
