Two southwest Nebraska businesses fail alcohol compliance checks

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) – Two southwest Nebraska businesses failed alcohol compliance checks conducted by the Nebraska State Patrol over the weekend.

According to NSP, seven businesses in Dundy, Chase and Hitchcock counties were stopped, including two selling alcohol to a minor for a compliance rate of 71 percent.

The businesses that failed the compliance check were Pizza Hut in Imperial and Liquor Store in Benkleman.

Businesses that sell alcohol to minors are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission. Clerks who sell alcohol to minors are cited for procuring alcohol for a minor.
