This week’s weather: Unseasonable heat brings a mix of sun and rain to southern Ontario

After frost notice this weekend, The week ahead promises a mix of sun and rain, with spring-like warmth in the first few days before temperatures turn cool.


As of today (October 27), the forecast suggests a mostly sunny morning with clouds rolling in into the afternoon. Daytime temperatures will reach 13°C, while strong winds are expected to pick up around midday, reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h.

In the evening, the sky will remain cloudy and temperatures are expected to drop by up to 1°C. Environment Canada has also issued an advisory night frost warning for parts of southern Ontario.

Monday will start with a mix of sun and clouds, with a 30% chance of morning rain. In the afternoon, winds of 40 km/h could blow. Temperatures will rise up to 12°C.

Skies will become partly cloudy at night, clearing in the late evening. Temperatures will drop by up to 6°C.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of rain. Daytime maximum temperatures will rise to 19°C. Skies will begin to clear towards the evening as temperatures drop slightly, from 19°C to 16°C, making it the warmest night of the week.

The weather will be clear and sunny with crystal clear skies on Wednesday! Temperatures will rise to 24°C, making it not only the hottest day of the week, but also reminding residents who get outside of the spring and summer vibes. The sky will remain clear throughout the evening as temperatures drop to 15°C.

Thursday’s forecast brings Halloween vibes with cloudy skies and a 60% chance of showers during the day. This will create the perfect spooky ambiance for kids anticipating a party. Although it’s a hot 23°C during the day, in the evening temperatures will drop to 4°C, so it might be a good idea to bundle up for those heading out to have fun and have fun!

November begins with sunshine and cloudy periods on Friday and Saturday. Temperatures will remain cooler, with daytime highs between 9°C and 11°C, while nighttime lows will fall to 0°C.
