The Penguin could have given us one of the best sidekicks we’ve seen on screen, Victor Aguilar. Played by Rhenzy Feliz, he has become one of the series’ fan favorite characters. However, now that episode 6 of The Penguin is here, the ending of this episode left his fate up in the air and we have no idea what will happen next with him. So, in this article, let’s find out how Victor Aguilar died in DC Comics.

The character of Victor Aguilar doesn’t appear anywhere in DC Comics, but…

Victor Aguilar is an original character and is not seen anywhere in DC comics.. He may be inspired by other comic book sidekicks, but he’s not like any of them. So we don’t know how he will die.

However, somehow, it seems that the creators of The Penguin took inspiration from Robin when creating the character of Victor. An orphan who was taken in by some sort of father figure and turned into an asset sounds a little too familiar to me, but that’s not all. The way episode 6 of The Penguin ended, it seems like they are heading towards recreating one of DC Comics’ most traumatic events.

Victor Aguilar could die the same way as Jason Todd’s Robin

Episode 6 of The Penguin ends with a shot of Victor and Ozwald’s mother dancing to music and celebrating the return of power to Crown Point. However, the final shot shows us that Sofia Falcone found them and stands in the doorway of their hiding place with a crowbar. If you know about Jason Todd’s death as Robin, you know that he was beaten to death by Joker with a crowbar. However, he was later revived by Ra’s al Ghul and became Red Hood.

It’s possible that the creators of The Penguin are twisting this story within the context of the series, making Sofia Falcone kill Victor Aguilar and Oswald’s mother with a crowbar the same way Joker killed Jason Todd.
