Selkirk RCMP asking for help locating missing 40-year-old man

Manitoba RCMP are asking for help locating a 40-year-old man reported missing from Selkirk earlier this week.

Lionel Lévêque was last seen on Thursday, October 24 in the town located approximately 40 kilometers northeast of Winnipeg.

Selkirk RCMP said in a statement Sunday afternoon that the man had not been heard from or seen since, and they were concerned for his safety and well-being.

Leveque is described as being approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, with black hair and weighing approximately 81 kilograms. He was last seen wearing a black or gray winter jacket and dark blue jeans.

The man was reported missing Friday morning. Police said he may be heading to Winnipeg.
