The Mississauga, Ontario native has 12 points in 73 career NHL games, split between the Arizona Coyotes and Winnipeg Jets.

A third-round pick by Arizona in 2015, Capobianco signed a two-year contract with the Stars this summer that pays him $775,000 in the NHL and $475,000 in the minors. The first year of his contract is two-way, the second year one-way.

The Stars are scheduled to arrive in Finland on Monday before facing the Florida Panthers on Friday and Saturday as part of the Global Series Fan Tour.
