Pinto last played for the Senators on Tuesday in their 4-0 win over the Utah Hockey Clubalthough he did not leave the game at any point, even playing the last 34 seconds of the match. He was later considered a game decision and ultimately missed Friday’s game against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Pinto has had a solid start to the season, with 1 goal and 2 assists for 3 points in 6 games. That’s good for a pace of 41 points in 82 games, which would be a career high for him, with his previous high being 35 points in 2022-23, although it’s a step back by compared to his best points per game pace of 27. points in 41 games in 2023-24.

Pinto was a second-round pick of the Senators in the 2019 NHL Draft in the USHL, with Pinto deciding to play for the University of North Dakota for the following two seasons.
