NHL betting Saturday, October 26 Prop success rate of players from the five most public teams Nazem Kadri

It’s only been two weeks of NHL hockey and I’m already starting to hit the panic button.

No, I’m not talking about the Toronto Maple Leafs’ power play or the Nashville Predators’ chances of making the playoffs. I’m talking about the public and its ability to choose winners.

Although the first two Saturdays of NHL action, the three most popular picks to win each day went together 1-5 to start the year.

For reference, I flip a coin to compete with you all and it’s 3-3.

Of course, it’s far too early to draw any conclusions, but, like teams on the ice, this column is always looking for ways to improve and that’s exactly what we’re doing.

This week, we will start the column again with the five most popular teams on the moneyline of the day. But to give the public a better chance of success, I’m throwing out the first list. I think the first few games drag you all down in hopes of starting the day with a quick and easy winner, but there’s nothing easy about winning in this league and if you needed proof , this is where you all lose to a literal coin.

But today is a new day and I believe in all of you. So let’s move on to tonight’s top five teams, some player props + money with over 70 percent success rate to start the year and stay at the end for my mom’s classic Canadian team, anytime, a scorer parlay that has a fun twist. the time around.

As always, we’ll end the column with the coin’s picks as it appears to be in the lead and extending its lead over Johnny Public in Week 3 of the NHL season.

Let’s take action.

After the crowd was all over the Nashville Predators the first two Saturdays this year, they are obliterating them this week.

Columbus enters Nashville still riding high from its 6-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday and will look to start a four-game road trip strong.

Bridgestone Arena has not been kind to the Blue Jackets, who have an all-time record of 9-36-7 in Nashville, including eight straight losses. Last year, the Preds won both games this season, winning 6-4 the only time Columbus came to town.

Meanwhile, the Florida Panthers remain in New York to face the Islanders after a 3-1 win over the Rangers on Thursday.

The Panthers are expected to start goaltender Spencer Knight for the third time this year as he looks to earn his second win of the season and second against the Islanders in as many starts after making 24 saves against them in a 3- 2 against them. last October.

Since 2021, the Panthers have won six of their last nine games against the Islanders, including three of their last four at UBS Arena.

PLAYER ACCESSORIES TO WATCH FOR

I like this part of the column. This gives me a chance to play with some filters and try to find props in the weeds that we wouldn’t normally play with.

So far, I have highlighted 12 accessories in this part of the article with a score of 6-6. This week I’m switching things up a bit by looking at the +money props for Saturday night with a 70 percent or higher success rate to start the year.

The last few weeks I’ve been looking exclusively at the 2023 head-to-head numbers for these props, but this week I want to find a current form and see if we can make them winners.

Mom’s Canadian Team, Anytime Goalscorer of the Week

We are on the board. After being skunked in the first week, my mother found the back of the net last Saturday when she boxed in Auston Matthews to score. Unfortunately for her, the parlay was a loser once again, with Zach Hyman dropping her as she tried to get ahead of him to end her scoreless drought to start the season.

This week we have a first in the column as my mom landed on a Same Game Parlay with both of her picks and she’s staying away from her beloved Toronto Maple Leafs.

“What I was trying to do this week was not pick any Toronto Maple Leafs because you never know who’s going to score on that team.” Well said, Mom.

That being said, the first player in her home-and-home game anytime this week is former Toronto Maple Leaf Nazem Kadri. She’s been a fan of Kadri since the day he was drafted and after almost picking him last week, she loves that he found the back of the net Saturday night against the Winnipeg Jets.

Turns out she did her research too, as Kadri’s 12 career goals against the Jets are tied for the second-most against any team in her career, behind Ottawa by two goals.

The second leg of this SGP is a bit of a shock for my mother, but sometimes that’s how you win.

Jonathan Huberdeau has 21 points and seven goals in his career against the Jets, tonight his mother hopes he will score his eighth.

I’ll be honest, she didn’t know who Huberdeau was until this morning, and I’m pretty sure she thought he was on the Jets, but Sharp is Sharp and I can’t argue with what she said to its subject. another guy seems to score a lot.

And he scores a lot, Huberdeau leads the team with four goals to start the year and last year he and Kadri both scored against the Jets in the second period of their February meeting, so hopefully ‘They will do it again this evening.

This SGP is currently +1400 on FanDuel. Go ahead mom, go ahead.

PUBLIC AGAINST. COIN

Finally, my favorite moment of the week has arrived. Let’s flip a coin three times and confront it to the audience.

As a reminder, you can also play house by tossing your own coin, heads is home, tails is gone.

Here are this week’s picks: Nashville, Florida and St. Louis.
