His third restaurant, Paco Tapas in Bristol, lost its Michelin star this year.

“All vouchers given to Casa will be honored at Paco Tapas.

“If you have any concerns or questions please contact us at [email protected].”

Customers flocked reddit to discuss why the mysterious shutdown occurred.

Someone wanted to praise the restaurant’s heritage in the area.

They wrote: “What you have to say is that this restaurant has improved the quality of food served in restaurants in the city and many chefs have passed through this restaurant and become top chefs and later open their own restaurants or projects in the city.

“This restaurant would have a wonderful legacy if it were to close completely.

Another suggested that Peter was “bored of Bristol”, while a third opined that he was perhaps “more focused on London in Decimo”.

Peter’s family was also involved; They opened Casamia restaurant in 1999.

Peter worked there with his brother Jonray from the age of 16, eventually earning his first Michelin star in 2009.

Following Casamia’s closure in 2022, Peter decided to reopen and rebrand the restaurant as Casa.

It’s designed to have a more casual feel, with authentic Italian comfort dishes like potato ravioli and mushroom ragu.

But this joint never achieved the Michelin-star status of its predecessor.

The Sun has contacted Casa Bristol for comment.
