90 Day FiancéMeitalia and James from ‘s got married for the second time in a colorful Javanese wedding!

PEOPLE’s exclusive first look at the Monday, October 28 episode 90 Day Fiancé: The Other WayThe couple, who have been married for two and a half years and reside in Maine, celebrated with an elaborate, traditional Javanese ceremony.

In the wedding teaser, James, who met his wife of two and a half years on social media and proposed just five days after visiting her in Indonesia following two months of online dating, can be seen smiling alongside Meitalia as they enjoy a musical performance.

“Our entertainment tonight is called Sintren,” Meitalia explains to TLC cameras. “This is our cultural, Javanese tradition.”

Two women sing and dance while a man plays the gamelan, an Indonesian orchestra that usually includes many bronze percussion instruments.

“It’s a very unique sound, to say the least,” James says, before trying his own off-the-pitch interpretation. “I don’t even know how to do it, but they make tones with their voices that sound like they’re out of this world. And I’m not sure if those tones are necessarily struck by human beings, but it’s special.”

Later, the ceremony featured different cultural dances, including the dance called “Bidadari”.

“The dancing is really cool,” James tells the cameras as the teaser shows a fancy-dressed man dazzling wedding guests with his dance moves. The clip captures James’ surprise as he turns to Meitalia at the wedding and admits, “I’m not going to lie, that’s impressive.”

But the Maine handyman appeared to have mixed feelings about the inclusion of the following traditional dance on their big day.

“And apparently, after they take a virgin girl and tie her up, they put her in a cage and there’s a lot of smoke coming out. Then they change or transform the clothes inside the cage,” the two girls undergoing the process say. “And she dances in a trance while possessed by an angel.”

James and Meitalia are one of six couples to feature this season 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, which brings back two couples from season 5 — Statler and Dempsey together with Shekinah and Sarper – and introduce four new couples, including James and Meitalia, Josh and Lilly, Joanne and Sean, and Corona and Ingi.
